Joined Rings

The diameter of the finished ring is determined by the developed length of the extrusion to be joined. Typically the developed length is calculated using the mean diameter of the ring and multiplying it by pi (3.142).
i.e. A 300mm inner diameter joined ring from a 10mm square section cord would have a developed length of : 300 + 10mm = 310mm (mean diameter).
310mm * 3.142 = 974mm developed length.
