expanSil™ has been designed and developed specifically for the manufacture of extruded silicone sponge products.

The range is designed and developed specifically for the manufacture of silicone sponge extrusions.

The continuous production process means Silicone Engineering can provide much longer coil lengths, which can help significantly reduce set-up and changeover times and increase your operational efficiency and competitive advantage.

However, Silicone Engineering will continue to use conventional methods, where appropriate, to ensure each silicone sponge extrusion matches your unique requirements and specifications.

expanSil™ is available in several densities from 200 kg/m3 (soft) to 530 kg/m3 (firm) and in standard colours white, red (riox) and grey.

Owing to the properties of cellular materials, Silicone Engineering offers a limited colour matching service for special requirements.

expanSil™GP materials offer all the resilience and versatility of silicone rubber and are ideal for industries where adverse temperatures are an issue or alternatively, where there are uneven sealing surfaces requiring a supple material.
